Helga Dorner at the lead of Institute of Research on Adult Education and Knowledge Management
Helga Dorner associate professor' specialization is higher education pedagogy, pedagogical innovation, digitization and knowledge management. In recent years, as head of the Center for Teaching and Learning at the Central European University (CEU), she has been responsible for, among other things, the higher education pedagogical training program for doctoral students and the higher education pedagogical development of university lecturers and early-stage researchers. Since 2015, she has been a doctoral supervisor in the Andragogy sub-program of ELTE PPK Doctoral School of Education, as well as a guest lecturer at the Institute of Research on Adult Education and Knowledge Management. In the course of her research work, she has regularly collaborated with the lecturers of ELTE PPK in recent years, and the results of the joint work are attested by publications. Helga Dorner graduated from Eötvös Loránd University with a doctorate from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Szeged - Doctoral School of Education, and then took part in postgraduate studies at Queen Mary University in London. Coordinator of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI) SIG 4 “Higher Education” since 2017, Member of the Board of the European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN) since 2016, Higher Education Pedagogies and the Journal of Adult Learning, Editor of Knowledge and Innovation journals.
